Kosaka City is a city found east of Lendyn Town, south of Merydian City, west of Ricyan City and north of Flamerny City. It is located in the Lauren Region. Since there was a limit on Fly-Points in the Game, you can't fly to Kosaka City.

This is the third city you pass through. The Gym Leader Lucy uses Fight-Type Pokemon. When beaten, you will get the TM31 Ice Smash, which is later needed to progress to Noormeak City.

After defeating the Lauren League and defeating Eusine in Kosaka City, you get the Rainbow Pass. It allows you to travel with the hot air balloon on the right in Noormeak City to Mt. Rainbow to catch Ho-Oh.
